Gran'ma turns the big 75.
Lunch for Grandma at Mihn Vietnamese restaurant in Dulwich Hill. Cheap and cheerful. Note the wise decision to BYO urine samples.

Queen's Birthday Long Weekend
A quick trip to the AGNSW to see Adam Cullen and get a free cup of coffee in the Member's Lounge. I reckon we get our membership fee back in free coffee and hot chocolate. I'm sure this guy thinks he's next on the horsey ride when he puts his money in the slot.
Followed by a catch up with the Mullins clan. We met them at the James Squire bar on King St wharf for a refreshing ale and champers. Then we dined (for T's continuing birthday celebrations) at Malaya.

Quality Analyst Last Day
Today is the last day of the office job of which I wrote earlier. Doing an extra day than was planned so I can hand over to the regular guy. Had been hoping for a cruisey run to the finish, but so much went wrong last week it was pretty stressful - again mostly because I don't know enough about what I'm doing. Was looking forward to getting back to my regular job today untill it was suggested I do the hand over thing. 5 hours to go - just keep bluffing.

Meanwhile, earlier last month.
The right tool for the job. A little pruning requires...
Combining gardening with Irish dancing is not an easy skill to learn, but once mastered can be a great time saver.
After a lengthy court case I was able to prove that some people do actually garden at night and aren't necessarily burying the dismembered corpses of meddling neighbours.
