A Trip To New Zealand Pt 3

Baldwin street is the steepest street in THE WORLD and is in Dunedin NZ.

Looking down.
Looking up.

A Trip To New Zealand Pt 2

The preposterously picturesque view from the Transcenic train  between Christchurch to Greymouth.

A Trip To New Zealand

More Christchurch.
"A church" that I'd better do a bit of research on!
The Christchurch art gallery or Te Puna O Waiwhetu.

A Trip To New Zealand

We flew into Christchurch and spent two nights and one day there. A picturesque and quiet town. Next time we get a hankering to go to England I think we'll just go to NZ.

The Avon river with punting -  kinda like England.
Phone boxes - kinda like the English ones!

Here comes the garage...eventually...maybe?!

After years of talking about and planning our mythical garage, the first actual physical progress happened this week with the removal of an inconvenient piece of nature.

Gran'ma turns the big 75.

Lunch for Grandma at Mihn Vietnamese restaurant in Dulwich Hill. Cheap and cheerful.  Note the wise decision to BYO urine samples.

Queen's Birthday Long Weekend

A quick trip to the AGNSW to see Adam Cullen and get a free cup of coffee in the Member's Lounge. I reckon we get our membership fee back in free coffee and hot chocolate.  I'm sure this guy thinks he's next on the horsey ride when he puts his money in the slot.

Followed by a catch up with the Mullins clan. We met them at the James Squire bar on King St wharf for a refreshing ale and champers. Then we dined (for T's continuing birthday celebrations) at Malaya.

Nuttin' but a tramp...

                                      ...oline.

It was all fun and games.

Then I thought
"I wonder what would happen if I jumped out of this tree?"

We're still looking for Boy Child.

Quality Analyst Last Day

Today is the last day of the office job of which I wrote earlier. Doing an extra day than was planned so I can hand over to the regular guy. Had been hoping for a cruisey run to the finish, but so much went wrong last week it was pretty stressful - again mostly because I don't know enough about what I'm doing. Was looking forward to getting back to my regular job today untill it was suggested I do the hand over thing. 5 hours to go - just keep bluffing.

Wife Turns Forty-Second Sitting

How many men does it take to turn a rissole?

 Smile...
   ...and relax.

Meanwhile, earlier last month.

The right tool for the job. A little pruning requires...

Combining gardening with Irish dancing is not an easy skill to learn, but once mastered can be a great time saver.
After a lengthy court case I was able to prove that some people do actually garden at night and aren't necessarily burying the dismembered corpses of meddling neighbours.

Rakin' Time

Wife excited. Soon the raking of the leaves!
